600. List of Internet Phenomena

Yeah, that’s six hundred posts.  It is very glib, … (Re:) I am very glib.  Or he is very glib.  You sure are glib for someone with nothing to be proud of.

Yeah, right.  The internet, in the form of  “the chans”, “Usenet”, “IRC”, et al, is a time sponge.  But, it’s young.  That’s my point today.

“You can find information on how to make meth on the internet,” or “Making meth is easy, there are recipes all over the internet.”  I was writing this blog on an examination basis of that assumption.  Having details to events available online which lend credibility to the accuracy of the account of such events, and the original premise that making meth is easy, are separate things.  The assertion that making meth is easy is unsupported by either the existence or the ease of access to information about how it is done.

The statement that it is easy must be there for other reasons.  It is an attack against freedom of speech, as if to say it’s too easy.  Also, if it easy, then the possessors of such knowledge must be common, low people whose rights need not be preserved.

Any attack against freedom of speech is perforce an attack against the internet “as we know it”, which is quite free.

How do you tell though?

How the hell do you tell?  How free it is?  How do you tell that?  Yeah, how do you tell that?

Answer: You can tell it is pretty free because it is pretty new.  In former times, the ability to manufacture meth was there.  It was a question of being tracked down once the deed was done.  Whether you would stopped in progress was guesswork.  If you knew how to make it, obtaining the materials was possible.  Other considerations intruded.  I was afraid that a certain large size production laboratory would trigger a law enforcement response, because they had a law of $10,000 on bank transactions.  If you deposit more than that, they make a report.  I did not want a report that I had bought 25 kg ephedrine to go to the DEA.

Law enforcement “tracking”of criminal activity, with an internet for God’s sake, just seems a matter of milliseconds.  As soon as your mind decides to commit a crime, you will be busted that fast.  So we have “Orwellian” and “Kafkaesque”, and no one since has ignored these, to do with Vonnegut or whatever, but Tom Wolfe, that’s just acting as if one segment of us is clean.  Well, that’s the rich fuckers.  They are above the law in a fake world in which it wouldn’t even matter if they were snitched on.  How can Hunter Thompson do drugs in the open for thirty years, write books and is never stopped?  We live a hand-to-mouth existence as subjects of some kind of aristocracy.  We’re peons.

Nothing is more proof of that than the pure information devaluation as exemplified by the internet.  Once I have blabbed about everything I know, the cat is out of the bag.

Above is “Boxxy”.  For some reason, the detail information of a person’s life, such as their real name, …posted below—

Well, however old Boxxy is is how old the internet is.  There can be a perpetual youth, of course, by having substitute girls, but the real Catherine Wayne or Catherine Gomez, born in 1992 on March 26 or May 8, or May 29 may be located at any time and presumably scar the consciousness of those who had lived in a fantasy world, blissfully unaware of how time had crept up on them.

Time brings war and complete destruction and will not be denied, because we are people and people rule the planet.  Before the end of our lives, taken as one, we will flatten it.  I don’t know how else to put it to you: it has never failed.

So maybe you can buy into a new Boxxy.  They certainly have new football teams and a new Mickey Mouse Club.  But, you are going to have to worship the Boxxy of your choice in the face of people telling you the truth too.

This girl’s turning eighteen.

Why am I putting thus:

The Great Gatsby is a novel by the American author F. Scott Fitzgerald. First published on April 10, 1925, it is set on Long Island‘s North Shore and in New York City during the summer of 1922 and is a critique of the American Dream.

The novel chronicles the chaos of World War I, American society enjoyed unprecedented levels of prosperity during the “roaring” 1920s as the economy soared. At the same time, Prohibition, the ban on the sale and manufacture of alcohol as mandated by the Eighteenth Amendment, made millionaires out of bootleggers and led to an increase in organized crime. Although Fitzgerald, like Nick Carraway in his novel, idolized the riches and glamor of the age, he was uncomfortable with the unrestrained materialism and the lack of morality that went with it, a kind of decadence.

Well, I am doing that because I had a sound in my head (you can see it as ‘flatten’), and it was “Gaspar” or “Gatsby”, and I wondered how to handle it and I decided I could marry it to Wolfe, since Wolfe seems like either the author or the character.  Tom Wolfe’s actual audience you see is not the thing to watch, it is how a man can hold onto the size of an audience from his reputation.  A wave moves through the population of a given size, not that anyone in the population stays in it.  he gives the people what they want, and the people are that subset which can be counted on to adhere to a formula which may then be pandered to.  It is large enough to provide a livelihood.  What happens is to retain constancy in spite of age, as we all stand for powerful abilities, youthful energy.  For example, a hat will cover a bald head.  Will Boxxy come on with a face lift?  She’s got eyeliner.  That’s how you plan it.  I mean that’s how you tell it’s her.

Here is the whole page on the internet phenomena.

It was the best of times, it was the worst of times, it was the age of wisdom, it was the age of foolishness, it was the epoch of belief, it was the epoch of incredulity, it was the season of Light, it was the season of Darkness, it was the spring of hope, it was the winter of despair, we had everything before us, we had nothing before us, we were all going direct to heaven, we were all going direct the other way – in short, the period was so far like the present period, that some of its noisiest authorities insisted on its being received, for good or for evil, in the superlative degree of comparison only.
Charles Dickens, A Tale of Two Cities
English novelist (1812 – 1870)

Oh, dammit.  I thought I knew how “Gatsby” started.  It was something else.  I must have gravitated to my initials.  I am doing a study on atomistic memes.  One occurrence is ‘ID’.  What is ID?  Is that what you show to buy cigarettes?

I am using ESP, and I would not bother if the big thing had not already shown that it has no limitations and appears to know everything.  The relationship, then, between the people, everything in them, and the world they inhabit, is not just to fill a hard space with soft things.  Each one is soft.  The events or the matter and energy, the geometry of space and time are flexible and relative to belief.  What is unique to oneself may be approximated in anyone,  Maybe all the possible worlds connect through the doorway of a person’s identity.  Some people lead to many, some to not so many.

“The Doors of Perception”, Huxley

“Pangloss” Voltaire.  No, it’s called Candide.  Pangloss is the hero.  Another book with a hero is Don Quixote, Servantes.  Then there’s the Divine Comedy, Dante, and we are back at something which is impossible to derive utility from due to the assumption that God was real and getting our reward in heaven was real.  That’s not real.  The author was deluded.  Can’t be used.  However, if it was famous enough or perceptive enough to uncover inescapable memes, we are still derivatives of it, mentally.  I noticed that I had seen those terraces of Purgatory.  Of course, popular songs have them too.  Paul Simon saw those as well, calling them “angels in the architecture spinning in infinity (“Call Me Al”)”.  Pop songs also have like. “Tales of Brave Ullyses”, but that’s not the search terms.  You need to see the text.  You needed to commit it to memory so you knew what Eric Clapton thought was over him and Cream.

A few minutes have transpired, and my thoughts go now from what is true to what is assumed, in a context of human beings.  The reality of ESP dictates that your own creation of a virtual personality could actually be composed by someone else.  Someone could put thoughts in your head, and, I have noticed that thoughts in certain forms are more capable of triggering action, less the neutral, “Oh, it is true that x”; and more the personal things denoting prejudice against you which are a lightning rod for action.  “Now it’s personal”, is the more dreadful declamation.

The mentalist as played by Tyrone Power who said, “I am sure there is a reasonable explanation.  You do not have to use the supernatural.  It’s just common sense, ” provides the avenue to enlightenment about ESP.  All I am saying is that thing which compels the creation of virtual imaginary machines exists.  You, others, your mind, machines, all have links.  The form of reality with access to all of time is desirable.  As long as you are acting out the notes to a melody, you do know what comes next in harmony.  These algorithms have the ability to carry information while reducing competing algorithms to meaninglessness.

In Marshall University they made the mistake of thinking that they were Marshall and their team was wiped out.  I’d notice that M.U. is mu, the Greek letter.  Many of these are major players, and have a three thousand year history.  Tau is the one of all time.  Iota’s a small one or it’s about small things, omega’s something, alpha’s at the other end of that, etc.

But, of course you aren’t going to rediscover lies we already know and pass them off as truth.  I was forty in 1992 when Boxxy was born.

What does age do?  Well, you won’t be so intent on finding out about Boxxy, that’s all.  Your whole internet’s mature.  It’s not going to keep up with the times.  What if eighteen’s too old?  What is ‘old’?  Well, it is next to extinction.  A lot of things are fatal, but none comes close to age.  The last rhinoceros with maggots eating its ass lets out poop and swishes it away with its tail.  The poo doesn’t even come out of one hole.  When you have to strap a plank to your ass and always have a wingman when you dip into Boxxy it won’t even be worthwhile to log on.  Oh, but we appreciate the rhino and want to save it.

That sucks!  I was trying to get seconds, and that just is the worst of internet lunacy, thinking it is important exactly when you posted, but I’m crazy!  So, I put ‘r’ and now it won’t update to Daylights Savings.  Now my posts are an hour off.  What a waste of time.  My blog will be right again in the fall.  I’m not fixing it.  Fuck!  What happened to my bold?  At least I have been ordered to get health insurance by Congress.  Now in four or five short years, when I am sixty-three, I can go to a doctor again.  Yay.

I had a call from Social Security.  It’s not really from Mary Becker, it’s the mandated law that I be dealt with.  So, how important something is becomes irrelevant as to the actual thing it is doing.  I have deep needs and some moderately deep needs, but everything I do is important to me, not to someone else who may depend upon it.  So I feel the need myself.  No matter how dependent we are, each of us has deep needs we can feel.  When we are cut out of the loop bearing down upon our lives, our emotional reaction to this marginalization can displace any contention of primacy and easily take first place, because it is imminent.   I want to be involved in my life, and images of me belong to me.  However, images of me in fact reside in multiple cases within the brains of others.  Operations on those images are

2227

Operations on my image or the classes of persons I may be included within is just the kind of thing I wish ESP was real so that once somebody was assumed to be dead that if they were alive they could act as antimatter to the lies and upset all the phonies.

2279

No, we don’t need the person to work on him.  All we need is a sample of the DNA to clone him; all we need is his bank account to drain him.  The person itself is messy.  The internet doesn’t care how many people there are.  It works just as well without any.

You people have to learn to live in harmony with the predators.
